all about capybaras

Capybaras are my favorite animal because I like looking videos of them on youtube and I saw one in real life. And soon, I'm probably going to see another one.

Capybaras are the largest rodent on earth.  They live in South America.  They eat grass. Their name means "master of grasses". I like to say grass master. They usually have 4 babies at a time and their babies can eat grass when they are only a week old.  Capybaras live to be about 12 years old in captivity.

Capybaras are semi-aquatic which means they live in the water as much as on land. Watch this one jump in the water to avoid the chasing by monkeys.  Be patient, it takes a while for the monkeys to chase it.

And just for more fun, a monkey punches one in the nose.  The capybara doesn't really seem to care.
Bye Bye.
